It was quite a surprise to discover I was a cover girl!
I was interviewed and they came and took a photo, but I just thought it was going to be in the article, buried somewhere in the paper. Probably would have combed my hair if I'd known it might be on the cover!
Seriously though -- this is one of the strangest experiences I've ever had, to see myself on the cover of a magazine.

And I must say, I am sincerely grateful to live in this community, that so actively supports arts and artists. The Greater Ithaca Art Trail and Community Arts Partnership are really wonderful resources. If you're a local artist, I definitely encourage you to reach out to them -- there are grants and exhibits and many other wonderful programs they offer. Please support them and their great work!
