Found this really cool box or case at Ithaca ReUse... there's a music box mechanism inside, but no way to activate it. Well, at least with my lack of mechanical engineering skills anyway. The back was open and nothing else inside except for a sort of shelf. Such a weird shape, and the window glass... it feels kind of creepy or coffin-like. It took months to figure out what to paint or put inside it... I sketched out cute little mice and toads, but I don't think it wanted cute. Then it occurred to me... what if there was some kind of alien or supernatural being that was captured a long time ago by some great-great-grandmother, who stashed it up in an attic, where it was forgotten....
