We have a lot of possums around here. I like them a lot - they're so prehistoric-looking... They strike me as deep thinkers. I saw a photo of a mother possum with her babies on her back that I referenced for this painting. I really like how it came out. I feel that she's seen a lot... and is worried about the future for her kids.
